Portillo’s for hot dogs and milkshakes is a must (good options for vegetarians too). You should also try to catch a great comedy show if you can - Second City is the best. Millennium Park is free - pics with the Bean are super touristy and great

WOOO! Let’s go! - She’s going to have to take you to Devil Dawgs, hands down. You should go to the nature museum and the pretty and free zoo is right across the street.

If you haven’t been, go to Giordano’s to eat! I am always a fan of the Shedd Aquarium and the Museum of Science and Industry, too (those are a bit touristy, though). Have fun!

Positively Persistent Teach: Where should @Jbizzle329 and @AllisonUnsupervised take me when I am in Chicago? ›
I’ve been before, so I’ve done most of the touristy stuff. Except go to the top of the Sears Tower, which would be ok to do, except I’ve also been on the top of the Eiffel Tower, and St. Paul’s Cathedral, and other high up places and it doesn’t do as much for me as it does for other people.

I’m a huge fan of any and all of the museums. Usually the Art Institute has free admissions certain times of certain days, so that’s always awesome.
You can’t go wrong with Giordano’s for some legit deep dish. It’s a sin if you don’t get deep dish pizza when you’re in Chicago.
Avoid Navy Pier. It’s obnoxious and way too expensive.
My favorite thing to do in Chicago, though, is to play trivia at the one bar in Boystown on Sunday nights. It’s amazing. And I’m pretty amazing at it too. ;)
