I’m getting my third observation tomorrow
And I’m SUPER excited for the lesson I’ll be teaching.
He’s observing my honors sophomores (who are all fabulous, fyi. I adore them.) We’re at part 3 of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and tomorrow I’m doing a big jigsawing activity. I have my class divided into four groups and each group gets 5 questions. Then they’ll discuss those questions as a group then break up into new groups with members from the other groups.
I had my CT look over the questions that I have them discussing and he loved them. He gave me some nice tips to make some of the questions better regarding wording and such, but overall he really liked it and basically demanded that I give him a copy so that he can steal it for next year. :D
For the first time, I’m not nervous about my supervisor coming tomorrow.
Talk to me one week from now when I’m preparing for his observation of my freshman classes…. That I’m nervous about.
But for now, I’m feeling awesome. Plus, I bought gas for $3.99 a gallon and I’m eating jelly beans instead of a real dinner. :]
I have absolutely zero ideas for my lessons on One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest that starts tomorrow.
I have some awesome discussion questions, which kind of saves me for tomorrow. But I just don’t know what else to do. Help?
Watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest in preparation for showing it all this week in my sophomore honors class.
I’ve never seen it until now.
I opened a word document so I could take notes… and I’ve been too enthralled watching the movie to take any notes.
I’m actually quite excited to see the same movie twice in a row all week. This is fabulous.
